he Galo tribe is one of the major and most populous indigenous communities in Arunachal Pradesh, predominantly inhabiting the districts of West Siang, Lepa Rada, Lower Siang, and parts of East Siang and Upper Subansiri. According to the 2011 Census, their population is estimated to be over 1.12 lakh, making them one of the 26 major Scheduled Tribes of the state.
